ENGLISH BOOK FAIR

-->
Last week, the English Department organised an “English Book Fair”. It was attended by most of our students and teaching staff, with great success for both the book shop and the school. Our students and staff benefitted from really nice prices and unbelievable discounts. Some of the fair's favourites were children's picture books and paperback novels, like those from the Twilight Saga or The Hunger Games. Our teachers, some of who are getting ready to get their B1 and B2 degrees, also had the opportunity to purchase text books with grammar and vocabulary exercises. All in all, a really successful and challenging experience.

Thank you all for your support!

AWESOME PARTICIPATION!

Last March, our school's English Department organised a very interesting and fun activity: The Easter Egg Decorating Contest. All of our students had the chance to participate in this contest by turning in an Easter Egg which they had previously decorated with the most incredible designs and patterns. The winners of our contest, one from each grade, got a superb gift basket full of Easter goodies and candy.

The Department also held an Easter-themed quiz, which asked fun questions – and some hard ones too!- to our students. They were able to show off all that Easter knowledge that they had researched for weeks. The winners also got a lovely basket full of Easter candy, which we are sure they enjoyed during the holidays.
Good job everybody!!

Thanks for participating!
